Dartmouth lies on the banks of the River Dart estuary in the South Hams area of South Devon. The town offers a beautiful waterfront, narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the fabulous scenery along the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes, while a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the countryside to Paignton is a must.
