Truro is a city and civil parish in the Cornish countryside of England. Described as the retail centre of Cornwall, you can easily access a good number of shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants for all of your amenities. Boasting a number of places of interest, including the Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro Cathedral and a number of sandy beaches dotted across the nearby picturesque coastline.
Cornwall is a region full of history, culture and unique identity. So unique in fact that Cornwall has its very own language (Kernowek), flag (St Piran's Banner) and national anthem (Trelawney). In 2014 the UK government officially recognised the fine people of Cornwall as a national minority group, meaning that Cornish heritage and traditions now join the Irish, Scottish and Welsh as a protected Celtic group.
