The cottage has three bedrooms, a double on the ground floor and two upstairs with the zip/link option of being two singles or a super king-size double bed. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor, and two shower rooms upstairs. The kitchen is bright and well-equipped, with stairs leading down into the sitting room and dining area. Doors open onto the patio with garden furniture, so you can sit with a drink and enjoy beautiful, far-reaching views of the fells. There is also plenty of off road parking. A fantastic base for friends and families.

Just five miles from the famous town of Windemere, Staveley is truly in the heart of the Lakelands. This charming village is just a stone's throw from the borders of the Lake District National Park and offers wonderful and scenic opportunities for walkers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts. The village itself is well-served by a number of shops, a trio of pubs and a railway station, offering relaxing rides through the surrounding countryside. Nearby attractions include the famous Lake Windemere, where you can soak up the spectacular panorama from a boat or take a ferry trip to the Lakeside Aquarium or the Grizedale Forest Park. Ambleside, the centre of English mountaineering, is also close by offering visitors the chance to go climbing.

The peaceful and tranquil locality of the house was fantastic; it was a totally relaxing holiday. The cottage was also furnished to a high standard for a group of five adults; we all thought it was a beautiful place and can't wait to visit again.
