Note: The cottage is accessed via steps and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility due to the steep location of the property. Please note there is a neighbour on the 2nd floor of the property and there is no vehicular access to the cottage. There is an allocated parking space approx 200 yards away.
The town of Kendal is situated on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. The town offers old cobbled lanes, an attractive main street, stone ruins of 12th Century Kendal Castle and The Abbot Hall Art Gallery. Both Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall with its superb Topiary Garden are nearby, plus the Lake District National Park is within driving distance.
