The School House is a detached cottage in the tiny village of Dacre, two miles from Ullswater. The cottage has a double bedroom, a bathroom and downstairs, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off road parking for one car, and gardens to the side and rear with furniture and a BBQ. The School House makes a wonderful romantic retreat or a peaceful base for those wishing to enjoy the scenery, walking and mountains of the Lake District.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 1 medium sized car. Lockable bike storage. Enclosed lawned garden to side and rear with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles. Note: Stairs in the cottage are narrow and steep.
Dacre is a small village within the Lake District National Park, just a couple of miles from the beautiful lake at Ullswater. Dacre has a pub, a castle and an ancient church. Five miles away is Penrith, with a further selection of amenities. The wonderful scenery, mountaineering opportunities and plentiful lake, water and mere sights of the region make this a great holiday base.
