The living area is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars, a paddock with orchard and shared grounds including a fishing lake. Lakeside makes a wonderful rural base for enjoying the countryside or exploring Dartmoor or Exeter.

The tiny village of Zeal Monachorum lies seven miles from Crediton, amid beautiful countryside. Crediton has a selection of amenities, and the area is full of wonderful walking and cycling. Visit Exeter, or head to Dartmoor National Park.

Sense and Sensibility - starring Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant and Kate Winslet. The French Lieutenant's Woman - starring Meryl Streep and Jeremy Irons. Edge Of Tomorrow: Live Die Repeat - starring Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and Brendan Gleeson. So you may recognise a few of the locations from their appearances on the big screen.

Brixton, Paignton and Torquay are the three Riviera towns and are great places to enjoy a day at the seaside. The Dartmoor National Park can be found in Devon and offers visitors a dramatic moorland landscape, ancient woodland, rare wildlife and notable influences, such as the location for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes case 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'.
