Cockermouth is situated just 13 miles from Keswick, in Cumbria. The town is famous as the birthplace of Fletcher Christian as well as William Wordsworth, who's Georgian family home, now owned by the National Trust can be found. There is also a variety of shops, pubs and places to eat. The main attraction of the area however, is the scenery and walking in the northern lakes.
