The Old Chapel is an exceptional chapel in the hamlet of Spark Bridge near Coniston in Cumbria in the South Lakes and is just four miles from Coniston. There is a ground floor basin and WC. There is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric woodburner effect fire. There is also a utility room. Outside there is an enclosed gravelled garden with terrace, patio and furniture. Two well behaved dogs are welcome and there is off road parking for three cars. Spark Bridge has two pubs, the Farmers Arms and Royal Oak, both offering good food. A couple of miles away is the village of Greenodd, which has a selection of shops and a pub, whilst just five miles away is the ancient market town of Ulverston. Ulverston is famous for its street markets and festivals, and boasts a wide range of shops, pubs and leisure facilities.
