A lockable garage provides space for storing walking equipment and bikes and there is parking for two cars on the drive. A twenty minute walk will take you into the town of Tavistock, a vibrant and bustling town with a fine variety of shops including a daily ancient Pannier market. Tavistock Golf club is 5 mins walk from the property where you can also enjoy the club facilities. There are plenty of day trips in easy reach if you desire a change of scenery including Buckland Abbey, Castle Drogo, Cotehele House and Lanhydrock House. For most, however what makes Edgemoor the perfect choice is the proximity to the Dartmoor and its magical moorland, mystic tors and beautiful landscape just waiting to be explored.

The market town of Tavistock, the main town of Dartmoor's western moor, is an exceptionally attractive town, owing much to fine Victorian architecture and its picturesque location on the banks of the River Tavy. There is no shortage of shops and cafes in Tavistock, plus the town is home to the purpose built Pannier Market - a must for every visitor.
Devon has quite a few claims to fame such as being the backdrop to many films, including; War Horse - starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, and directed by Steven Spielberg. South Devon is home to over 20 miles of Torbay coastline which is otherwise known as the 'English Riviera'.
