The town of Newquay with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within 45 minutes.

In 2014 the UK government officially recognised the fine people of Cornwall as a national minority group, meaning that Cornish heritage and traditions now join the Irish, Scottish and Welsh as a protected Celtic group.
Cornwall is proudly known as the stunning setting of the popular BBC television series 'Poldark', starring Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson.
