The pretty village of Uffculme is located in the lush green countryside to the east of Exeter, this small rural community provides a welcome change from the demands of modern living. Almost midway between Dartmoor and Exmoor, and just a 40-minute drive to Exmouth and the beautiful South Devon coast, it is a perfect base for touring the area's many attractions.

South Devon is home to over 20 miles of Torbay coastline which is otherwise known as the 'English Riviera'. The Dartmoor National Park can be found in Devon and offers visitors a dramatic moorland landscape, ancient woodland, rare wildlife and notable influences, such as the location for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes case 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'.
