Note: Due to a steep slope to the rear of the cottage, children should be supervised. This detached, stone-built cottage, a former smithy, is set in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse alongside the river Rawthay. The cottage is on the owners small holding and therefore friendly farm dogs and free range chickens roaming freely. Please note this property is unable to accommodate infants.
Sedbergh is a market town at the foot of the Howgill Fells, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with the Lake District National Park also nearby. The town offers shops, pubs and 12th century church within its olde worlde atmosphere. Be sure to pay Kendal and Hawes a visit.
