Axminster is a market town tucked away in outstanding countryside, famous for its carpets and situated on the River Axe within easy reach of the West Dorset and East Devon Jurassic Coast. The many attractions on offer include privately owned shops, a weekly market and old inns. With views on offer and the National Trust properties of Shute Barton and Loughwood Meeting House close by, Axminster is a must to visit.
