Note: License is required for on-site fishing subject to availability and there is a charge payable locally. Note: Due to fishing lake at Rosecraddoc Manor, children must be supervised at all times. Note: There is an unfenced stream in the grounds, 20 yards away.
The market town of Liskeard is located in South East Cornwall at the head of the Looe Valley. The town has a weekly market and is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches and harbour of the quaint fishing port of Looe is a mere 9 miles away. In-between there's fishing and water sports at nearby Siblyback Lake, the Donkey Sanctuary at St Ann's Chapel, Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, and the championship golf course at St Mellion International Resort.
Cornwall is a region full of history, culture and unique identity. So unique in fact that Cornwall has its very own language (Kernowek), flag (St Piran's Banner) and national anthem (Trelawney). In 2014 the UK government officially recognised the fine people of Cornwall as a national minority group, meaning that Cornish heritage and traditions now join the Irish, Scottish and Welsh as a protected Celtic group.
