Appledore is an ideal base for visitors wishing to explore North Devon and its surf beaches. In close proximity to Appledore is the town of Bideford, which boasts a town quay, medieval bridge, shopping area, Pannier Market, and a shopping area. Also popular among visitors are the golf courses, surfing beaches, as well as theme parks and other attractions in close proximity to Cornwall.
